What Are the Limits of Design?

Answering the question ‘Is this a matter of design?’, Shohei Shigematsu looks at the ever expanding definition of design in order to find out what this means for architecture. When everything is design, will there still be a possibility of differentiation within the city? Or might this differentiation come from outside of the city, i.e. the countryside?
