Marianne Anthonissen

Marianne Anthonissen joined OMA in 2016. She joins the partnership as Managing Partner, sharing responsibility for the management of the firm with David Gianotten. In her previous role as Chef de Bureau, she was responsible for staffing and the day-to-day organization of the office. In 2021, her role expanded to encompass responsibility for the firm's global human resources and operations, working to further the development of the organizational structure that supports the practice across its international offices. Born and raised in South Africa, Marianne studied architecture at the University of Cape Town and graduated in 2001. She practiced for nine years in Cape Town and Johannesburg before relocating to the Netherlands in 2013. She completed an MBA at TIAS School for Business and Society in Tilburg in 2015.
